Apartment description

Take a bite out of one of Rome’s most tantalizingly tasty neighborhoods in a setting as cozily charismatic as the area itself.  Attractive ambience and vibrant decor welcome you to a slice of life like a local, full to the brim with all the charm and comfort one needs to call Rome HOME. Set in a building well served by shops, comfortably close to trams and taxi stands, and very convenient for exploring Rome on foot, Eraclea is equipped with an elevator to the 3rd floor; only steps from your airy, 4th floor accommodation. Enter a blend of radiant red and neutral tones, complimented by a perfect amount of natural light from windows extending the length of 1, long, living area wall.  A comfortable double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom + shower  easily accommodates any couple, while a sofa bed can entertain 1-2 more guests and make the apartment most family-friendly.  A kitchenette complete with a microwave, refrigerator, and stove-top are a perfect setting to prepare simple meals, or cool down cocktails and drinks; which can be enjoyed while taking in the lovely view from Eraclea’s intimate balcony. Aside from being well connected to all Rome has to offer via public transit, the Campo de’ Fiori fun is only a short jaunt over the Tiber and rest of historic Rome, is practically at  your feet. Trastevere itself has bred an eclectically bohemian energy since time almost unmemorable and boasts some of the best restaurants and bars in the city; often with dinner, dessert, or aperitivo offers one simply can’t refuse.  Sprung from the roots of a richly diverse ethnic populace and characterized by whimsically winding cobbled streets, charming corridors, and spectacular views, Rome’s “other side” is as intoxicating as it is inviting. Take the time to visit lovely historic sites like Santa Maria in Trastevere, Santa Cecilia, and San Francesco a Ripa, or enjoy a stroll away from the hustle and bustle of Roman city life up the Gianicolo (Janiculum) hill  and enjoy one of the best panoramic views Rome has to offer against a backdrop of the incomparable Fontana dell'Acqua Paola. Famed for its festive atmosphere, a taste of Trastevere, could sate even the most notorious night owl, while its many quiet corners and charismatic cafes offer havens of calm in a vibrantly lively district.  Enjoy multi-cultural fun and city hustle without dense urban hurry, and stay moments from the center with no worries.

The location was good for walking to the major attractions. The area has a lot of great little cafes. There is a large grocery store right next door below a clothing store. There is a lift that went to the third floor. The building is very secure.

This apartment needs an overhaul. The balcony chairs(2) are covered in mold. As was the living room ottoman. The balcony was full of little ants. Light on the balcony was non functioning as was the light over the sink in the washroom.

Excellent location. We had every thing we needed in the appartment and the staff was very helpfull.

Would have been better for two people. Since the appartment is quite small, using the living room as a bedroom left no place to hang out.
