Apartment description

A scandalously spacious apartment, Buonarroti offers 80 sqm of ground floor glory for up to 3 pax to truly spread out and enjoy the luxury of privacy while traveling. While 1 bedroom offers 2 single beds, the 2nd offers a double bed and the living room accommodates visitors with a double sofa bed.  1 bathroom with a shower and another with a scrumptious jacuzzi tub saves you from bathroom lines in your Roman home at the very least, and the living room is large and comfortable enough to lull guests into dreams of relocating.  There’s even space for foodies to test their talents with local flavors with an open, fully equipped kitchen attached to the living room.  From a dishwasher to a microwave, Buonarotti’s kitchen has every craving covered and the presence of a washing machine makes this accommodation truly self-catering.  Airconditioning, internet, a dvd player, and satellite tv add to the home-like comforts and modern features of this tastefully neutral yet plush property, located in a historic building that’s nothing short of captivating.  Take advantage of the close proximity of buses, the Metro stop at the Spanish Steps within 15 minutes of your door, and your incomparable location to explore Rome in the way that suits you best; though the historic center is truly a compact area and very easily walkable from Buonarroti.  Start with the Ara Pacis Museum just outside the door, the altar dedicated to the Roman Goddess of peace and and a reminder of the Rome that existed before becoming the seat of Catholicism, and work your way around, with the Tiber river and the lovely views offered from its many bridges being in front of the building as well.  Explore more of ancient Rome at the nearby Pantheon and be awestruck at the beauty that is Piazza Navona less than 1 km away.  The Trevi fountain is another tantalizing treat within a kilometer of your lodgings and absolutely not to be passed up.  Even if you’re not superstitious about the coin toss ensuring your return to the Eternal City, rest easy knowing that funds recovered from this impressive fountain go to the equally impressive cause of a charity that helps provide food for the local needy. Fashionistas will love this stay in the center of high fashion heaven while more affordable shopping options are also numerous nearby, and travelers can wine and dine their way through the area as many have for centuries, or head over to the happening haven of modern nightlife that is the Campo de’ Fiori area; which for years has also held a morning flower/farmer’s market that’s a delight to delve into.  Whatever your personal preference, Buonarroti promises to deliver and often exceeds expectations.

Fantastic location. Clean and good facilities. Very professional service from Leisure in Rome and also excellent and reliable transport to and from the airport. Would definitely rent this apartment next time we come to Rome and use the travel service as well.

The Apartment is very centrally located. We walked everywhere, I would say that the Coliseum and the Vatican were about the only two places that were a good long walk from the apartment. There is also a great little CafÚ under the apartment that we either had coffee in the morning or a lite snake in the afternoon about every day we were there, best service in Rome.

The apartment is very noisy! Since the place is so centrally located the traffic noise is very heavy. We had to keep the windows shut and the air conditioner on while we slept to keep the noise out.

The apartment is very spacious, the bathrooms and kitchen are all nicely renovated, the furnishing are like the photos. The apartment is centrally located and we walked everywhere. It is a great location to all of the major sites. There is a nearby grocery store, the neighborhood and building are really nice. The double pane glass really kept any noise out too. We would certainly stay again!

As someone else wrote, the inside of the apartment could use a paint job .

Perfect location

The apartment is nice although it urgently needs to be painted. Not enough supply of kitchen tools and towels, bath towels and bedroom linen.

Ideally located value for money apartment in Rome within easy walking distance to the main shopping, eating areas and tourist attractions. Good size rooms.

The apartment was difficult to locate initially. Main bathroom was good but with a shower curtain. Smaller bathroom shower cubicle was tight. No printed instructions for washing machine, oven or central heating.

The office support and comminication has been brilliant and when our travel plans changed I was able to sort out the changes easily.
The apartment was in an impressive building and we were warmly greeted and shown how things worked and it really helped being shown where to go to eat out and they were good recomendations.
Great location and we walked to the Patheon the afternoon we arrived .I couldn't get over how close we were to everything.
Lovely airconditioning after a day in heat!

The Hot water ran out for 24hrs during our three night stay which was a nusisance but it came back on before we left and there had been work men in.
The sofa bed was ok but there were five of us and Dad got the super double bedroom!
