Apartment description

Recent renovations make Chiavari your comfort station while ensuring the BEST vacation!  Enter an atmosphere that blends bright modern style with traditional Campo character as fluidly as the surrounding area blends architectural epochs and discover Rome from one of its most fascinating neighborhoods.  In olden times, the winding streets just at the door of your first floor apartment, were named for the tradespeople operating there, and your “key to Rome” is literally located on the street named for key makers; open the door and you’ll discover so much more!  Like what, you ask?  Fascinating history at your feet, a culture of dining, drinking, and some of Rome’s liveliest nightlife, a million ways to sate your appetite and snack on divine delights available in every direction at least 18/hours/day, and a wonderful farmer’s market 6 mornings/week where you can completely indulge in the bounty of fresh produce.  You’re also just across Ponte Sisto from Trastevere, Rome’s historic melting pot, and a great spot to delve even deeper into the authentic aroma and flavor of local cuisine as much as the bar/club culture. Don’t leave without exploring the thriving flavor of the nearby old Jewish ghetto, the calm of Piazza Farnese, or a stroll down the serenity that is Via Giulia, each location weaving its own tale into the tapestry of Rome’s past and present day intrigue. Piazza Navona’s legends, history, and lore are practically next door and as much a gateway to “Classic Rome” as any other cobbled avenue your feet may lead you down.  Live the dream while soaking in the scene against one of the Eternal City’s most elegant Baroque backdrops while being only moments from echoes of the truly ancient.  Stroll on over to the impressively preserved Pantheon less than 1 km from your door, or the crumbling beauty and mystique of the ruins at Largo di Torre Argentina, where Julius Caesar is believed to have been killed.  Marvel at the diversity of structures from all eras of local history coexisting with the motion of modern life in picturesque harmony and embrace the feeling of actual eternity; or at least millennia.  St. Peter’s is within walking distance as is the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps are just under 2 km away, putting Rome on the map as both a high fashion capital and global religious hub. Chiavari couldn’t be more connected to all on offer, with numerous bus lines almost outside, the tram only moments away, and a few metro options within the general vicinity and walkable from the apartment. After enjoying the absolutely fabulous outside, you definitely want accommodations that reflect that inside, and Chiavari delivers with pleasure.  Characteristic wood beam ceilings are a lovely atmospheric touch livened up by bright pops of cheerful yellows and flares of art and photography adorning the walls with personality alongside soothing neutral blues and crisp whites, not to mention all the comforts one needs to feel at home. Internet and a/c are of course a must, as is a TV, but the open kitchen and dining area are also rather well equipped with a stove and oven; perfect for experimenting with some of the spoils of Campo’s market and seeing what Italian culinary intrigue YOU can whip up. With a comfortable double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living area, Chiavari accommodates up to 4 people, with the added perk of being a 1.5 bath apartment to minimize lines for the toilet (the full bathroom is equipped with a shower). Style, atmosphere, comfort, and conveniently central location make Chiavari an ideal destination for travelers desiring a taste of independence while remaining attached to attractions and the pulse of Rome’s action!
